Your new company Hays Recruitment Ballarat have partnered with a well known organisation that requires an experienced Financial Accountant to join the team on a full-time basis starting in 2024! Your new role As an experienced Financial Accountant, your duties will include, but not limited to the following Assist in the management of financial reporting requirements, including cashflow, balance sheet, profit and loss, management reporting and other Group Reporting requirements Assist in the management and preparation of journals to ensure all month-end and year-end transactions are posted into the general ledger Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenue and liabilities) Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies and errors Assist in forecast cost and revenue, budget preparations and financial trend analysis Review existing processes for improvement and develop new processes where gaps are identified Develop and manage preparation of general ledger reconciliations and responsibility for clearing of reconciliation items Improve existing ways of working by…
