Financial Accountant

The Company

Robert Half is currently recruiting an experienced Financial Accountant for a well-established company, located in the inner Northern Suburbs, close to the CBD. The business is a government owned Not for Profit entity that supply Health Services to a variety of sectors. The business is currently undertaking a significant expansion of their services which has led to the creation of this role.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, this role will primarily support the upcoming Year End deadlines. The business offers good working from home flexibility with 2 days WFH each week. This role is a 5 month temporary assignment.

Your key duties will include:

• Year End Support
• Month End Close
• Financial Statement Preparation
• Statutory Accounting
• FBT Returns
• Audit Queries

Your Profile

To be successful in this role you will ideally be a Qualified Accountant (either CPA or CA). You will feel confident supporting the Year End process & be able to take workload away from the Finance Manager. You will have strong systems skills (any exposure to Dynamics or Business Central would be advantageous) and strong excel skills. It's a fun & relaxed office environment so someone who has a great attitude / friendly demeanour would fit well.

This role is to start straight away, so you will be available to start at short notice.
