The Position
A newly created position has been developed for a Financial Adviser to grow an existing base of clients. There is no BD required and all new business will be given to you. The key is to maintain a happy base of engaged clients, business expansion and have a growth mindset.
Responsibilities include:
- Clients – attend client meetings. Provide advice on cashflow, debt strategies, superannuation, investments and insurance as well as general tax strategies. You will explore financial options, build a plan and manage them on a month to month basis
- Client Implementation – project manage the establishment of new products. You will have the support of Associate Advisers and a back office team to deliver the financial strategies for your clients
- Accountable and responsible – for the preparation and ultimate sign off of advice documents
- Guide and advise – the advice management team so that they can respond to client enquiries, SOA’s, ROA’s, action plans and other documents as required
- Professional development – maintain required qualifications, through continual education and attending seminars and courses as required
We are seeking the skills of a well-presented and well-spoken professional who is able to build rapport with clients and colleagues easily. The key is your technical ability and experience working with your clients to deliver a superior client experience at every step of your client’s money journey.
You will also display the following attributes:
- 2 or more years experience as an Adviser
- Completion or on track to complete FASEA
- A strong technical background in superannuation, risk and tax
- Have a coaching mentality and style
- Experience in dealing with wealth accumulators is desirable
- Financial modelling software experience as well as proficiency across MS Office
- Strong compliance history
- A self starter,self-managed, proactive and driven
