The opportunity

As a result of business growth together with some new alliances with accounting firms, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Planner to join this business. Highly profitable client base to tap into and the partners are committed to ensuring that the financial planning part of the business succeeds. Excellent and efficient process and systems to ensure advisers focus on advice and advice only! 

The Role

• Assist with the growth of the Wealth Management division as well as managing and growing a small existing client base.
• Work closely with accountants to ensure their clients have the financial planning support that they need.
• Assist to manage a team of Associate Advisers and provide guidance and mentorship to all support staff.
• Take on a book of existing clients and be passionate about the delivery of the best advice possible
• Conduct meetings/reviews with all clients and develop/adjust the overall investment strategy.
• Investigate alternative strategies and recommendations and continue to strengthen the relationship with the clients.

You will require:

• Significant experience in, and understanding of, the end-to-end client relationship from a Wealth Management & Accounting perspective.
• Proven expertise in managing client relationships that involve complex financial structures.
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities with effective oral and written communication
• Decisive in actions with meticulous and rigorous attention to detail
• Experience coaching and mentoring a team of professionals to meet and exceed key objectives (ideal)
• A confident persona and an ability to engage clients at the senior level.
• An unwavering commitment to quality and a desire to commit to a business for the longer term.
• Tertiary Qualifications in Financial Advice
