The role
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance division. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various financial activities, including compliance-based reporting, client reporting, and project transitions. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career in finance within a dynamic and supportive team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide services relating to compliance-based financial reporting, auditing, insolvency and accounting information systems; and advise on associated record-keeping requirements;
- Provide support during the month-end with activities such as Revenue and Margin reporting;
- Responsible for driving and managing the Firms Client Reporting requirements, including on time and accurate delivery to clients as per agreed timetable;
- Provide support to the WKase project team to ensure the successful transition on the Client Report Stream, including the ongoing maintenance after launch;
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Business Analyst team in terms of the business reporting requirements;
- Assisting in formulating budgetary and accounting policies;
- Assisting in preparation of financial statements for presentation to boards of directors, management, shareholders, and governing and statutory bodies;
- Examining operating costs and organisations' income and expenditure;
- Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements;
- Providing financial and taxation advce on business structures, plans and operations; and
- Introducing and maintaining accounting systems and advising on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as Financial Analyst within the Legal industry.
- Bachelor degree in Business & Finance.
- Experience using legal industry programs such as Aderant is essential.
- Should have experience in using Power-Bi to create reports.
- Any Financial Analysis certifications would be considered a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

- A self-motivated outlook, pro-active personality and have a strong work ethic.
- The ability to take initiative, solve problems and demonstrate you care about your work product.
