Finance Analyst
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform the role of finance business partner for the identified corporate overhead profit centers.
- Prepare overhead reports for the identified corporate overhead profit centers, ensuring costs are valid, accurately recorded, and within budget/forecast.
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure costs are valid, accurately recorded, and remain within budget/forecast.
- Provide quality insights into factors influencing performance (actual vs. budget/forecast) and present recommendations for performance improvement to support decision-making.
- Process all recharges in a timely manner, ensuring values have been accurately calculated and are in line with budget/forecast where appropriate.
- Review and prepare timely Blackline balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the balance sheet.
- Reconcile prepayments, accruals, GRNI, other payables, and receivables balances, ensuring aged items are investigated and cleared promptly.
- Assist with purchase order requests and goods receipting.
- End-to-end preparation and timely delivery of quality budgets and quarterly reforecasting, including appropriate variance analysis, graphs, and commentary.
- Relevant degree qualification in Accounting/Finance.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- SAP experience required.
- Sound IT capability; experience using Power BI and BPC is desirable but not essential.
- Strong financial, planning, and analysis knowledge.
Systems/Software Experience:
- Previous experience with SAP, BPC, and Power BI is highly desirable.
- Strong financial, planning, and analysis knowledge.
- Understanding of financial accounting knowledge and audit requirements.
- Strong understanding of internal control processes.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar level role.
- Previous finance experience within a large, complex organization.
- Tertiary-level qualifications.
- CA or CPA.

- Demonstrate a good understanding of complex transactions and accounting concepts.
- Identify and deliver process improvements to increase compliance, reduce risk, and eliminate wasteful processes.
- Contribute to the preparation and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in developing reporting processes and documenting procedures to maintain efficient financial process flow.
- Implement Power BI reporting where identified.
- Prepare ad-hoc tasks as required.
