Financial And Statutory Accountant

Fantech Group, is a leading manufacturer and supplier of air movement products across Australia and beyond, seeks an experienced Financial / Statutory Accountant to join our team at our Dandenong South head office.

Role Overview:

As a Financial and Statutory Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our finance team, undertaking a diverse range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial data to facilitate accurate preparation of general ledger entries and documentation of business transactions.
• Develop detailed financial reports including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other pertinent documents to effectively summarise and interpret current and projected financial standings for managerial review.
• Undertake the compilation and completion of year-end statutory accounts and tax information to ensure adherence to audit and compliance standards.
• Take charge of preparing annual budgets and monthly reports for group reporting entities, including meticulous balance sheet reconciliations for the IAG business.
• Collaborate closely with external auditors and tax agents to ensure seamless compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitate smooth year-end processes.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have:

• A Business Degree in Accounting, with CA accreditation preferred.
• Five years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in an operational organisation.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in financial software.
• Strong commitment to customer service and demonstrated ability in budget management.
• Experience in developing and implementing business strategies.
