Financial And Treasury Accountant - Fmcg/Consumer Products

The Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing high quality financial accounting support to ensure compliance, enhance decision making and achieve business goals. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Loading daily payments and transfers in the banking portal.
• Conducting weekly bank reconciliations for Australia and New Zealand.
• Creating daily/weekly/monthly cash flow management Excel files.
• Posting accounting entries to reflect daily banking transactions in the BPCS ERP system.
• Generating weekly/monthly/quarterly treasury and ad-hoc journal entries to maintain P&L and Balance Sheet accuracy.
• Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations as per the timetable and addressing review issues promptly.
• Compiling weekly financial results for precise accounting and cost center allocations.
• Producing regular, timely financial reports for Finance Business Partners, comparing performance to the budget.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies for interests in JV's, Associates, and minor entities.
• Managing BPCS/TM1 systems, including GL master data and period/year-end closing.
• Assisting in preparing the SG&A budget (and forecast) as per the budget schedule.

The Successful Candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in finance / accounting
• An ability to analyse data and information and translate this into useful business insights
• Strong communication skills to assist with stakeholder management
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel with experience in Tm1 or BPCS ideal
• Prior experience working within a product based industry (FMCG/Retail/Manufacturing/Pharmaceutical) will be beneficial 
• CA/CPA qualification preferred but not mandatory
