Your Role:
As the Financial Controller at Freshline, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality reporting and analysis to stakeholders. Your insights will guide our business decisions, maximise profitability, and offer strategic guidance to our leadership team. Based at West Junction, you'll be responsible for coordinating budgets, developing reporting tools, managing contribution and GP margins, overseeing finance platforms, and driving process improvements. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams and external accountants will ensure tax and regulatory compliance. Moreover, you'll take on leadership responsibilities, mentor team members, and ensure cash flow aligns with business objectives.
Desired Qualifications and Attributes:
- A degree in Commerce, Economics, or Business, along with formal CPA/CA qualification.
- Strong collaboration, IT, and communication skills.
- Flexibility, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience with performance management systems and production management systems is desirable.
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment, especially in the food sector, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with tools like Power BI and understanding of Job Costing is a plus.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Timely delivery of monthly financial statements.
- Divisional and $GP reporting with actionable recommendations.
- Budget actuals maintained within 3%.
- Maintaining Liquidity Ratio.
- Monitoring GP / Contribution Margin % and NP %.
