Role: Financial Controller

Location: Melbourne CBD

Length: 12 months fixed term

Salary: $170,000 package

Our client:

Our client is a leading Financial Services provider who are based in the Melbourne CBD. They are a fast-growing funds provider with locations across the East coast of Australia who are going through a strong period of growth.

The role:

This is an exciting 12 month fixed term Financial Controller role which will see the chosen candidate assist the CFO and run the corporate and fund accounting for this organisation.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the companies deliverables around financial and statutory reporting
• Lead the day to day corporate finance and fund accounting requirements
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process
• Hands on duties such as assisting with AP, AR and Payroll
• Review Financial Policies and Procedures for the organisation
• Assist with Tax duties
• Assist with system upgrades and implementation
• Ad hoc tasks

About you:

• CA Qualified
• Ideally Big 4 or mid tier experience
• Strong experience with Financial Reporting, Fund Accounting is desirable
• Experience with running budgeting and forecasting
• Experience with Xero is desirable
• Strong communication and stakeholder experience.
