We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to reinforce our local team. You will initially be reporting to the ANZ CFO. A new opportunity has arisen for a proactive and self-motivated finance professional to join the Atos Finance team. The successful candidate will lead on establishing/updating the required structures, accounting policies and processes, and then implement their effective operation and governance. Applicants will have significant financial management experience of major contracts, possess excellent interpersonal and social skills, and have an eye for detail.
Your responsibilities: * Responsible for all finance activities within the area and partnering with business leads to drive results

• Key finance business partner with Operations, Client executives and Delivery teams to drive business initiatives and achieve desired outcomes
• Responsible for monitoring and optimising of the balance sheet and operational P&L
• Compliance with relevant accounting standards and relevant legislation and liaising with internal and external auditors as require
• At month end, in addition to performing month-end closing and reporting activities by respecting strictly internal Group reporting deadlines, develop/improve processes to ensure deadlines are met, and variances or other items of interest are clearly articulated to the relevant Controller
• Identify areas of sub-optimal performance and address through putting in sustainable improvements in business processes, governance, and controls
• Compile key business metrics and report on them to management
• Assist in strategy formulation for the area, including account plans and performance against budgets
• Drive Cost out and margin optimisation programmes
• Prepare monthly and quarterly statutory and management reports usually for several larger groups, departments or units according to statutory regulations and corporate accounting policies and identify and resolve issues
• Participate in the production of annual/ semester budgets and quarterly forecasts in a timely manner
• Manage ledgers, postings and provisions
• Contribute in monthly/ quarterly internal closing activities
• Work with the team to contribute towards finalisation and submission of financial statements and various tax returns, as necessary
• Contribute to the implementation and deployment of new processes, systems and standards.
