Financial Controller

East Quarter Group is a Family Office/Investment Property Group located in Hurstville that is currently looking for a talented and experienced Financial Controller to join the Executive team. 

Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.

To be successful in this role we are seeking candidates that bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• Overall responsibility for the Group’s Accounting and Finance function;
• Cash flow forecasting for the group;
• Management of project finance facilities and monitoring loan covenants;
• Responsible for HR and payroll and STP reporting;
• Management reporting of the group (including intercompany loans, cashflows, P&L, Balance Sheet, external debt);
• Processing of invoices and supplier payments;
• ATO lodgements including PAYG, BAS and TPAR;
• Raising rental invoices for tenants;
• Month end procedures;
• Liaising with external Accountants to prepare and lodge Year end financials and tax returns;
• Overall management of several entities and structures;
• Hands on role.

Skills and experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting (CPA preferred);
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in a similar role;
• Experience in using Jobpac;
• Highly competent in Microsoft products (Excel and Word);
• The ability to time manage and multitask;
• Experience in the Construction/Development industry;
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to engage with all stakeholders.
