Immediate Start - Leading Medical Devices Org. - Microsoft Dynamics365 Experience Required - Financial Control - Team Management - Process Improvement
About the RoleWorking for an industry-leading Medical Devices organisation, this role is primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the finance function and assisting the CFO in the planning, implementation, managing and running of all finance activities of the business. Initially, this role will commence as a long-term contractual position up until the beginning of 2025, however with the genuine opportunity for extension following this period.
The Essential Requirements
Reporting directly into the CFO, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end management accounts.
- Preparation of half-year financial and full-year financial reports including correspondence; with external auditors and the Board as required.
- Responsibility for tax compliance, including Income Tax, GST, Payroll Tax, R&D, FBT, etc.
- Preparation of quarterly cash flow reports.
- Lead the review and evaluation of internal controls; identifying gaps, and implementing necessary improvements.
- Lead the development and growth of the finance team
- Have a continual focus on process improvement and assist on ad-hoc tasks as required
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have has extensive hands-on Microsoft Dynamics365 experience, a strong attention to detail, have worked in a complex & dynamic organisation previously and be able to commence a new role relatively immediately.
