Currently, they’re seeking a Finance Settlements and Payroll Officer in Melbourne to oversee the efficient delivery of payroll, accounts payable, network settlement, wholesale settlement and the company's other financial obligations on behalf of the business and associated entities.
Responsibilities
- Receive and review finance documents (invoices, contracts, and other legal documents) from vendors for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage the end-to-end network and energy settlement processes, including settlement, enter reallocations, reconciling data, investigating discrepancies, assist with prudential requirements and adherence to market deadlines.
- Prepare and process payments, including cheques, electronic transfers, and bulk payments.
- Prepare and manage expense reimbursements and reconcile and process employee expense claims.
- Verify expenses against company policies and obtain necessary approvals.
- Strong and effective communicator.
- Be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage time effectively to deliver on priorities.
- Capability to work fast, dynamically, and autonomously.
- Focus on improvement and maintenance of internal control protocols.
