Reporting to the Director, Finance - Business Partnering & Planning you will be integral to enhancing performance reporting and driving value add through analysis and insights.As the FP&A Manager you will lead insights generation through detailed analysis across revenue (strong grants focus) and costs across labour and expenditure categories. You will engage with a broad range of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to achieve sustainable financial outcomes enabling RCH to achieve its priorities and strategic plan.What you'll achieve:
- Providing timely, accurate and high quality financial and business management advice, reporting and insights across a range of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
- Supporting the establishment, monitoring and review of financial performance targets through the management and coordination of the budget process, forecasts and facilitation of periodic divisional performance reviews
- Providing project management capability to support the annual financial sustainability program
- Driving data driven decision through contemporary analytical techniques with a focus on labour drivers and revenue enhancement
- Assisting in consolidating the capital planning process to achieve organisational service and quality objectives
- Ensuring the financial reporting systems are maintained and remain fit for purpose
- Leading a small service focused business partnering team through systems enhancements and reporting uplift
- Bachelor of Commerce, Business or Accounting with CPA/CA qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in lifting reporting and analytical capability
- Small team management experience and authentic communication skills
- Significant experience and demonstrated achievements in business planning and reporting across both public health and commercial sectors
- Advanced Excel, big data management skills and ability to present key insights in written form to the C-Suite and Board committees
