THE ROLE:

The Finance Department is looking for an experienced, Financial & Planning Analyst to join the team as a full-time member, reporting to the Commercial Manager for Sales and Distribution

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Participating and supporting the preparation of the annual sales budget and rolling forecasts with detailed “what if” scenario analysis.
• Provide monthly analysis and explanation of deviations to Business Plan and Estimates.
• Preparing and manage the monthly reporting pack through to the business.
• Preparation of business cases for capital projects with detailed financial analysis.
• Playing a role within the integrated business planning process, by understanding and providing updates on:
  • Cost tradeoffs of managing changes to plans
  • Identifying profit implications of mix variance
  • Evaluating the financial impacts of simulating business scenarios
• Analysis and interpretation of business trends from multiple sources.
• Ongoing development and production of variance analysis to highlight business issues and support development of corrective actions.
• Ad hoc analysis as required by the business.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders within the business.

 ABOUT YOU

• High analytic skills, with a passion in processing data and providing and presenting a synopsis from the data to draw meaningful business insights.
• High attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Flexible in the task role of this position and able to adapt to the changing nature of the business.
• You can juggle multiple priorities, keeping all stakeholders informed along the way.
• A self-motivated and proactive professional who can manage workflow and tight deadlines.

 DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Advanced Excel with strong financial modelling.
• Intermediate PowerPoint & Word.
• Educated to minimum Bachelor's degree level in a commercial subject and studying towards a professional qualification.
