About the role
To provide accurate, insightful, and timely analysis of Group entities, BUs and total business financial performance. Support the development of timely, accurate and production of informative financial analysis, including the development of cost controller and analysts.
Key objectives & responsibilities include:
- Liaise with business units to analyse, interrogate, and report on major contracts, events and both business unit profitability and cash flow performance
- Highlight key issues for management attention
- Set the standard for business unit budgeting and forecasting models across the group in line with group processes & procedures
- Oversee and review group entity reporting for completeness and accuracy.
- Manage the financial performance of the Group Reporting and individual Business Units (BU)
- Manage the Business Planning Cycle
- Own the Financial models, forecast & analysis
- Assist in financial analysis to assess major capital expenditure requests
- Support and analyse new business opportunities within Group
Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:
- Finance, Accounting, or other Business Degree
- CA (Chartered Accountant) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a variety of Finance functions with a focus on management accounting, financial modelling, and business analysis to drive financial performance
- Highly PC literate - Microsoft Suite and particularly Excel expertise
- Hold a Construction safety induction (white card)
