We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team. The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, analysis, and decision-making processes within the organisation. Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the FP&A function, providing valuable insights to senior management, and contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Support Head of Group FP&A in executing key priorities and deliverables across Group Finance
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Manage and assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes,
- Collaborating with Commercial Finance, broader business functions and other teams within Finance to align financial goals with operational objectives
- Analyse financial performance, variances, and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the potential impact of strategic initiatives, market dynamics, and any other ad-hoc analysis required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the FP&A function, implementing best practices, standardising and optimising processes, and enhancing reporting capabilities.
- Work closely with investor relations to ensure key messages delivered to
brokers/investors and backed by supporting data
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic factors that may impact financial performance and business operations.
To be considered for this role your skills and attributes should include:
- At least 2 years prior experience in a similar FP&A role of a large corporation
- CA/CPA qualification preferred
- Big 4 auditing experience a plus
- Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, problem solver and proven ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment
- Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
- Ability to conduct detailed financial analysis and development of finance / business process SOPs
- Strong systems skills (essential: SAP, Excel; highly desirable: TM1 and Power BI)
