The role of Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis is focused on leading and managing a team to deliver value via forecasting and annual business plan for Asset Management Australia and effective decision support to the business and leaders.
About the role
- Hands on ownership of forecast and budgeting process including key stakeholder management (business, boutiques, CEO/CFO), forecast models, and delivering insights as a trusted advisor
- Partner with the business to gain insights, forecast, and track performance against plan.
- Collaborate with financial control function with respect to cost allocations, accruals/provisions, tracking and analysis of actuals vs forecast and plan.
- Drive financial system integration and development to support a trusted FP&A function.
- Provide key business decision support and business case analysis as required.
- Provide finance ownership of all variable reward schemes
- Accounting, Finance or Business Degree and CA/CPA preferred
- 8+ years experience, with sound knowledge of financial accounting, and strong knowledge of management reporting, cost management, and Financial Planning & budgeting processes
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Asset Management industry experience preferred
