We are currently looking for a talented and commercially astute Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Specialist to join our vibrant team based in Sydney, NSW. As a key player in our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Manager for FP&A, providing essential Financial Planning and Analysis to key business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the budget process to develop plans and assumptions to achieve business targets.
- Oversee management accounting tasks for business units, including profit reforecasts, cash flow forecasts, and monthly management accounts.
- Coordinate with other Financial Business Partners to consolidate budget and forecast numbers.
- Assist in the production and distribution of KPI dashboards, automate data and reporting, and escalate material changes in outlook.
- Track and review trends in cost drivers, operating expenses, and cash burn.
- Deliver accurate and timely reports (monthly management and Board reports) to support strategic decision-making.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline FP&A functions.
- Support the FP&A Manager and collaborate across teams.
- CA or CPA Qualified with post qual experience.
- Ideally have a background in sizable corporate environment
- Demonstrated history of excellence, propelled by a constructive outlook and a fervor for improving business proceedings.
- Hands-on experience with ERP, Planning, and BI systems
- Outstanding business Planning and Analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
