About the role:
The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for the following duties:
- Preparation and delivery of accurate management Financial Reporting, variance analysis and insights for month-end, budget and forecast processes for our gift card business
- Preparation and delivery of compliance matters ensuring accuracy and consistent treatment of accounting issues including half-year and year-end audit process, monthly business activity statements, FBT, statutory Financial Reporting and income tax.
- Build trusted relationship with key stakeholders by engaging with and influencing operational business partners.
- Ad-hoc reporting as required on a daily, weekly basis
- Management of onshore and offshore finance teams.
- The successful candidate:
- CA qualification - preference is to have a second mover chartered accountant, Big 4 or mid tier firms with experience within BFSI thereafter strongly preferred
- At least 8 years’ experience in Financial Reporting within financial and/or professional services
- Effective planning and time management skills, with demonstrated initiative and proactive approach to managing dynamic workload and overtime during Financial year end
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including high emotional intelligence to partner effectively with stakeholders
- Superior system and excel skills with exposure to Xero preferred
A market leading salary of $150,000 - $175,000 + super. Exposure to a highly driven and high calibre executive leadership team.
