The role
As the Financial Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and optimizing financial processes within Sandvik's Asia Pacific Captive Finance organization. Your primary focus is to support end-user customers in acquiring Sandvik products while providing wholesale credit facilities to Sandvik distributors. Your forward-thinking approach will drive the development of innovative financing offerings, adapting to evolving customer needs.
You will draw upon your experience to lead a diverse range of responsibilities, including statutory oversight as a Director and ensure regulatory compliance. You will take responsibility of, and strategically expand the captive customer finance portfolio across multiple countries, concurrently managing a third-party financing network. Your experience will be pivotal in navigating the credit approval process, preparing financing offers, and negotiating terms in alignment with Group policies. In achieving this, you will meticulously oversee legal documentation, and supervise the registration of loans and leases.
To thrive in this role, you will have a degree in finance, business, or a related field, combined with Financial Services and management experience. Your strong leadership and ability to think strategically is crucial for guiding teams toward our business goals. A comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and risk management, encompassing knowledge of APRA and AUSTRAC reporting and compliance, will be vital in this role. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are also important for effective collaboration. If you have experience in Wholesale Finance and Captive Finance, that's an advantage, so is knowledge of the mining and construction industries.
This role requires frequent internationally and domestic travel, leading a geographically dispersed team across the Asia Pacific region.
