About the Role:
6-month contract position with the prospect of ongoing work. Based at the Harness Head Office in Murarrie just east of Brisbane CBD, the Financial Controller will be an integral member of Harness’ Executive Leadership team and will report directly to the CEO. They will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day finance and accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:

- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a senior finance leadership role
- Bachelor of Business, Commerce, Finance and/or Accounting
- CPA or CA qualification preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated high-level experience and understanding of Australian financial regulations, processes and procedures
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset with an attention to details
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
- Experience working in fast paced and high-volume operations
- Highly motivated and excellent organisation skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships while driving employee engagement and development
- Experience using Xero
