We are looking for a Fire Carpenter to be based in our Wollongong office and working in the surrounding areas
The Role:
- Effectively performing routine maintenance of fire service equipment in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards.
- Performing high quality repairs and replacement of fire related doors and passive fire protection equipment.
- Working with some of the best technicians Australia has to offer.
- Working in a motivated team environment
- Identifying hazards and safety issues
- Providing detailed information for quotes
- Liaise with work coordinators and management.
- Providing high level customer service to clients
- Identifying opportunities for potential repairs, upgrade works, refurbishments, and new business
Selection Criteria:
- Trade Qualification – Cert III in Carpentry
- NSW Carpentry Licence
- WHS construction induction card
- Hands on experience in a fire carpentry related role
- Ability to work within a team or autonomously.
- Awesome communications skills – interact positively with colleagues and customers alike!
