In our NSW office we are growing our ESM/Annual Fire Assessment business and are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and experienced Fire Safety Assessor who can represent the firm at the high level we require. The successful candidate can expect to work on all types of Class 2-9 buildings across the state. We have a mentoring and review system in place so that staff are continually pushing their professional limits, with support and QA in place to ensure our work remains to the high standard our clients require. We are very much client focused which means the role will be demanding as well as rewarding.
Experience & Qualification:
- Full FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) accreditation for Fire Safety Measures highly desirable.
- Wet & Dry accreditation is required as a minimum.
- Proven industry experience in fire protection and in-depth knowledge of various systems.
- Strong understanding of Australian Fire Safety regulations and codes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interactions and report writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours to perform witness testing.
- Current drivers’ license.
We are looking for candidates who can:
- Manage clients annual Fire Safety compliance programs including:
- Conducting comprehensive fire risk assessments for various classes of properties
- Evaluating existing Fire Safety measures and systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Identify potential fire hazards and develop effective strategies for risk mitigation.
- The ability to value-manage the scope of maintenance works in the context of the relevant standards to ensure compliance is achieved for a minimum costs
- Provide detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to implement recommended Fire Safety measures.
- Stay updated on changes to Fire Safety regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
