Equans, a leading provider of technical services across Australia & New Zealand, and globally, is looking for a highly driven and experienced Fire Services Manager to join our Fire Protection Services team in Capalaba.

In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operations and strategic direction of the business Qld fire business. You will manage all aspects of the Queensland Fire Services team, ensuring a safe workplace, and fostering a culture of respect and responsibility and will utilise your commercial acumen to drive growth and profitability.

Key Requirements:

• Manage team performance to control cost, quality and seamless delivery of Fire Protection Services to customers.
• Drive a culture of safety within the team and comply with business process in relation to safety and reporting.
• Work proactively with Account/Business Development Managers to maintain and grow current customer base.
• Drive and be responsible for revenue targetsand profit growth targets in line with budgets.
• Contribute to and achieve the long-term objectives of the business.
• Develop and maintain excellent lines of communication and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare, review, and submit reports and forecasts for presentation in regular business review meetings.
• Manage the effective use, control, maintenance, and replacement of all department assets including properties, plant, equipment, and fleet.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the company policy around corporate governance and safety, including but not limited to customer contracts and project criteria.

You will have:

• Current fire industry experience, 8+years relevant work experience.
• 3-5 years' experience in people management (desirable).
• Relevant trade certificate or equivalent and a proven track record of practical and technical competency gained (desirable)
• Working knowledge of business management systems such as Pronto -(desirable)
• Intermediate computer & MS Office skills.
• In depth understanding of the legislative and licensing requirements applying to the delivery of Fire Protection Services in Qld.
