As an experienced Sprinkler Fitter your key responsibilities will include:
* Carry out testing of all wet and dry Fire Systems in accordance with AS1851-2012.
* Perform Integrity Testing;
* Performing on site emergencies. Proven field service experience, ability to Troubleshoot, Test and Repair;
* Identifying Issues and Non-Conformances;
* Quote New Jobs and Rectification work;
* Preparing accurate and timely onsite service sheets and reports.
Skills & experience
* A sound Knowledge of Australian Standards and codes relevant to the fire industry
* Suitable experience in installation, service and testing of Sprinkler, Hydrant, Fire Hose Reel, Pumps and Pump Sets and Special Hazard systems.
* Strong ability in fault diagnosis and solving issues on site
* The ability to read/ interpret plans
* A current Trade Qualification (Fire Protection Scope - Hydrants and Pump Sets, Sprinkler & Suppression Systems)
* A current Qualified Persons Extinguishing Agent Handling Licence and fitter/plumbing license.
