Fire Technician- Tester

THE ROLE

An opportunity exists to join City Building Indigenous Corporation in the role of Fire Service Technician. The role requires fault finding, testing, inspection and repair/replacement of fire protection equipment and fire safety systems as part of regular fire protection services for our clients.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Fire Service Technician (Dry Fire)
• Demonstrated ability to service and repair various types and brands of fire panels, fire protection equipment and fire safety systems.
• Ability to fault find and program fire detection systems.
• Valid NSW driver’s licence.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Communication both written and verbal, time management, problem-solving, interpreting technical data, and teamwork.
• Uptick experience favourable
• FPA accreditation for inspecting and testing all fire measures desirable
• White/Green Card
• Current Police and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
• This is a full-time role.
