The role
Our leisure facilities in Morwell, Churchill and Moe/Newborough provide a key area for physical health, wellness and fitness, and a space for community members to come together in a social capacity. We are looking for people to join our Leisure team to provide any of the following:
- Fitness assessments and programs that contribute to our members' health and fitness goals and support them in their journey
- Develop and instruct safe, effective and highly motivational classes for all fitness abilities
- Support delivery of fitness and wellness programs in the community
About you
We are seeking dedicated Fitness Instructors who specialise in Yoga & Pilates. The ideal candidates will be passionate about fitness and will also be committed to delivering exceptional customer service to our members and visitors to our facilities.
An ability to work as a collaborative team member and being adept at prioritising, planning and managing your own workload is also a must.
You will need:
- Certificate III in Fitness (with relevant components for group fitness and fitness instructor) or higher AND / OR recognised qualification in a specific program
- Current Professional Registration
- Pilates or Yoga qualified desirable
- Demonstrated commitment to providing high quality and efficient customer service
- Ability to provide a high standard of gym fitness programming and / or group fitness classes
- Highly developed knowledge of OHS requirements within a leisure/recreation setting
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively unsupervised and cooperatively as part of a team.
