About the Role
The driving force that will be behind our Fitness Team will be you as you manage the Group Fitness and Personal Training departments. You'll extensively liaise with all team members within the club and with our regional team.
This position requires, but is not limited to the following:
- Running motivating, energetic, and results-driven group sessions
- Implementing and developing a timetable with the view to increasing group exercise participation
- Managing a timetable of sessions/classes across multiple programs
- Implementing and managing club approved retention and tracking system for Members
- Completing 1 on 1 Personal Training sessions for Members
- Managing a team of trainers to achieve set goals
- Continually and actively recruiting for new Personal Trainers (both employed and contractors)
- Consistently recruiting, inducting, and supporting quality new Trainers / Instructors in line with the goals of the club
- Management of other revenue business units to budget/target
- Management of PTs to perform shift responsibilities
- Accurately reporting on all KPIs to the Club General Manager on a weekly basis
- Growing the skills of the team by providing training workshops on a month-to-month basis
- Management of rosters for opening and closing
Skills and experience
- Minimum of Certificate 4 required (or equivalent)
- First aid and CPR
- Fitness Australia Registration
- Working With Children Check
- Proven Industry experience - at least 2 years in a Personal Training role and experience managing staff
