Role Overview: We are seeking a National Business Development Manager to lead the generation and acquisition of new business opportunities in the health Care Fit-out sector. This role involves managing projects from initiation to proposal stage, after which they are handed over to the internal sales and delivery team for execution. The focus of this position is on expanding our client’s presence and project portfolio across the national market, particularly on the East Coast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the health care sector, focusing on fit-out projects.
- Manage multiple projects from inception through to the proposal stage, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives.
- Engage and build relationships with key stakeholders in the medical and health care industries to secure project leads and contracts.
- Collaborate closely with the internal sales and delivery teams to ensure seamless transition and execution of projects.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends and competitive landscape in the property and fit-out industry.
Candidate Profile:
- Extensive experience in Business Development within the property and fit-out industry, specifically with medical and health care projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale projects, with the ability to handle values ranging from $1M to $20M.
- Strong capability to generate new business, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging effectively with a variety of stakeholders including medical professionals and construction teams.
- A strategic thinker with a focus on results and a strong desire to drive business growth in a competitive sector.
