As the Studio manager, you are the glue that keeps us all together. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output. You will be responsible for managing a team of designers, coordinating projects, and maintaining client relationships. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities:Team Management:
· Supervise a team of creative staff, providing guidance, support, and creative feedback to ensure the successful execution of projects.
· Conduct daily WIPS and meetings to discuss project updates, deadlines, and any challenges.
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
Project Coordination:
· Coordinate project timelines, resources, and priorities to meet client deadlines.
· Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and workload capacity.
· Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
· Collaborate with suppliers and media to understand their specific requirements and preferences for each project.
· Work with management to ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Quality Control:
· Review completed work to ensure it meets the agency's quality standards and client specifications. Have a strong eye for detail.
· Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members to improve their skills and maintain consistency in output.
· Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to optimise workflow efficiency.
Administrative Tasks:
· Running day-to-day studio operations.
· Manage resource allocation.
· Maintain accurate records of project details and communications, and team performance.
· Support the implementation of internal systems and operations to enhance efficiency.
Technical Skills:
· Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
· Proficiency in using Monday.com, Slack, Notion, and other project management tools is an advantage.
Requirements:
· Experience in a managerial role within a design agency or similar creative environment.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
