Idler Engineering Services is a small fabrication business based in Bellevue WA and is currently in the market to hire a person with fitting and welding skills. Our engineering business specialises in the refurbishment of idler wheels and rollers for bulldozers and excavators, that provides a cost effective and efficient service to the mining and construction industry. The main role and responsibilities is the dismantling and reassembling of idlers wheels, that involves cleaning, painting, sealing, pressure testing, replacement of bearings and hone to specifications. This position also requires MIG and I.D. Bore Welding experience, good organisational skills to supervise the assemble line of Idlers, report job status and equipment stocks to the Manager. We require a person, who has experience using an overhead crane, hand and power tools. General workshop duties as directed, keeping the workshop organised and clean, is also a part of this role. The applicant must have industry experience as a Senior Trades Assistance and demonstrate they have the appropriate qualifications to support their application. They must show evidence of their ability to work in a team, follow Work Safe principles and hold a current Driver's licence. We are looking for a hard-working, punctual person with good communications skills, who demonstrates initiative and works effectively in a team.
