Job description:

As a result of our success and growth we are now seeking experienced and enthusiastic Flashbutt Welder to join rail projects in the Pilbara region, WA. These roles are well-suited to those with a high regard for safety and quality, and the demonstrated ability to operate and maintain machinery.

Skills & Abilities

• 2 years Flashbutt Welding experience
• Nationally accredited FBW certification
• Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure
• Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure
• Experience working within the Rail industry
• A proactive and well-informed approach to working safely
• Drivers Licence
• HR Licence
• White card
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Key Responsibilities

• Working in rail environment
• Ability to work alongside team members with various skills
• Maintenance on plant machinery
• Good oral and written communication with knowledge of day to day works under the guidance of the Supervisor
• Follow safety procedures and direction as required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Perform general track maintenance as required
