Flatbed Cutter/ Laser Cutter/ Production All Rounder

Well established for over 30 years we specialise in domed labels for a variety of industry groups and support a broad Australian and Overseas client base. 

For the right person we offer long term permanent full-time employment working with a great supportive team, in our Frankston Factory.

We are looking for a multiskilled superstar who is competent to work in 
cutting / finishing and assist with Printing.

Tasks & Responsibilities (not limited to)

Finishing: 

Operating our Summa/Zund cutters & Trotec lasers to cut and engrave.

Monitor the feed, speed, and depth of machines during the production process. 

Finish production: laminating, app taping, weeding cut decals, quality checking.

Cleaning and Maintaining equipment.

Use our job management software to control production orders.

Understand the requirement for quality production, and the impact of close tolerances. 

Digital Printing:

Support with setup of UV/ solvent Printers. Work with our lead printer with overflow work.

Selection Criteria must haves….

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finishing 
• Sound Knowledge of cutting software – Summa Axis control/Go produce, Zund Procut, Trotec Ruby
• Sound knowledge of material handling and substrates
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to schedule jobs to ensure deadlines are met.
• Accuracy and Attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Strong Mechanical Aptitude and Machine Maintenance skills
• A positive and eagerness to learn, provide solutions to continuously improve output, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Offer: 

This key full-time position is based in Frankston, working day shift Monday – Friday 38 hrs a week.
