In this job you will:

  • Manage the clerical and computerised operations as necessary.
  • Process and coordinate deliveries into major DC's co-operatively with transport allocators and in the timeframe dictated by customers or DC's.
  • Complete manifests for each DC
  • Assist as back up for overflow calls
  • Maintain and improve current quality standards and make improvements to processes.
  • Strictly adhere to the requirements of the quality system implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Any other duties that are requested from time to time.

You have the following qualities and qualifications:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to change quickly.
  • Ability to cross train into other roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role(s) within the transport industry.
  • Capacity to make accurate decisions in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
  • Enthusiastic attitude with the ability to develop a positive culture
  • Proven experience in consistently delivering results
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven planning and problem solving skills
