In this job you will:
- Manage the clerical and computerised operations as necessary.
- Process and coordinate deliveries into major DC’s co-operatively with transport allocators and in the timeframe dictated by customers or DC’s.
- Complete manifests for each DC
- Assist as back up for overflow calls
- Maintain and improve current quality standards and make improvements to processes.
- Strictly adhere to the requirements of the quality system implementing corrective and preventative actions.
- Any other duties that are requested from time to time.
You have the following qualities and qualifications:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to change quickly.
- Ability to cross train into other roles.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role(s) within the transport industry.
- Capacity to make accurate decisions in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
- Enthusiastic attitude with the ability to develop a positive culture
- Proven experience in consistently delivering results
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven planning and problem solving skills
