Fleet and Workshop Management System Analyst - Canberra
Responsibilities:
As a Fleet and Workshop Management System Analyst, your role is crucial in evaluating and enhancing the existing Fleet and Workshop Vehicle and Asset Management System. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Project Planning:
- Develop a detailed Project Plan and schedule for reviewing and assessing the current fleet Management System, workshop operations, and vehicle fleet.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure project goals align with organizational objectives.
- System Review and Assessment:
- Conduct a thorough review of the current fleet Management System, workshop operations, and the vehicle fleet.
- Assess the timeliness of vehicle servicing, parts replacement, and overall fleet network functionality.
- Identify gaps in processes and recommend improvements for a seamless service transition.
- Review existing workflows and system processes to align with current practices and goals.
- Market Testing:
- Evaluate the market to identify suitable and fit-for-purpose options for a replacement vehicle and asset Management System.
- Ensure alignment with industry best practices and organizational requirements.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Provide regular status updates on project progress against the Project Plan and Schedule.
- Generate a comprehensive report identifying risks, timing, roles, and responsibilities.
- Develop a Draft and Final Report with recommendations, including a performance map of the internal system requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with key stakeholders, including project managers, operations personnel, and relevant staff.
- Foster collaboration with workshop and fleet teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the system and its requirements.
- Proven experience in reviewing and enhancing Fleet and Workshop Management Systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of fleet, asset, and inventory Management Systems.
- Experience in problem-solving within operational environments.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and adhere to project plans and schedules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
