We have an exciting opportunity to join us as qualified Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to maintain service and repair of motor vehicles, trucks, mobile plant and mechanical equipment used by Banyule City Council to perform these services to service the municipality.
About the Role:
The role's objective is to assist in the maintenance, servicing and repairs of motor vehicles, mobile plant and mechanical equipment used by Banyule City Council.
Skills, experience and certificates
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- High Risk Work Licence - Forklift
- Experience working on waste trucks and mobile cleansing plant including hydraulic and electrical diagnostic capability.
- Sound communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Mandatory Pre-employment screenings:
- Current Motor Vehicle Driver's Licence
- Police check
- COVID 19 vaccination certificate
- Functional Capacity Check
