Due to department growth, there is an exciting opportunity to join our Resource Industries team located at our Tomago Branch. Reporting to the Asset Strategy Manager - Resource Industries, your primary responsibility will be managing the contracted asset strategy for our fleet on a key customer site. This role involves supporting strategic planning and forecasting activities aimed at enhancing efficiency in the machine lifecycle and ensuring asset availability for our customers.
In this position, you will be responsible for analysing multiple data inputs, including financial KPIs, asset availability, and WIP, and making recommendations for any required changes to asset strategy to ensure contract performance. You will collaborate closely with Operations teams on site as well as Finance teams to ensure contract projections align with the budget, facilitating accurate financial reporting and maximizing contract profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse data to review and recommend changes to asset strategy for commercial success.
- Support site Operations and Finance teams in financial reporting and budget alignment.
- Manage data for accurate forecasting and planning of site based assets.
- Engage proactively with stakeholders regarding asset strategy and cost management.
- Coordinate processes to secure forecasted components for timely service delivery.
- Review past contract performance, conduct root cause analysis, and suggest improvements.
- Provide training and support to the site Operations team on Asset Management Tool planning tools.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Data Analytics, Commerce, Business, or similar are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role with exposure to asset management is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
- Previous experience in analysing strategy costs, operational performance, and efficiency.
- Understanding of planning and forecasting activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on process improvement.
