Application Performance Analyst (Siebel)

About the clientExperis have been engaged by our client based in Sydney CBD to assist with identifying a qualified and experienced Siebel Application Performance Analyst to join its Digital Transformation and Delivery Division.Role & Responsibilities:This 12 month contract opportunity will encompasses a wide array of challenging tasks, supporting the introduction of substantial new capabilities and initiatives designed to drive innovative digital transformation in it's sector.This position will report directly to the Director, Application Infrastructure section and have responsibility for the delivery of the following activities:

• Designing, developing, and implementing plans to resolve application problems and errors.
• Analysing Application Performance and ensuring efficiency, security, and alignment with user needs.
• Collaborating with IT services and business stakeholders.
• Identifying and diagnosing issues within software applications.
• Analysing logs, error messages, and system behaviour to pinpoint root causes.
• Collaborating with developers and system administrators to resolve issues.
• Ensuring timely resolution to minimise impact on users.
• Tracking and managing how well software applications perform in production.
• Monitoring response times, error rates, and resource utilisation.
• Ensuring that applications meet service level objectives.
• Using specialised tools to keep tabs on application health

About the successful candidateYou must be an Australian Citizen with an Active Baseline Clearance. You should have excellent oral and written communication skills, a proven ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders towards common goals, and effective planning and problem-solving skills focused on delivering quality outcomes. You should be adept at multitasking, comfortable in both technology and business environments, highly motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision to achieve results. Experience in Siebel operations/support, infrastructure operations/production support, administering applications in a large enterprise environment, and familiarity with relevant Oracle technologies, including Oracle Databases and Exadata, is required.If you think you are suitable for this position please send your resume and cover letterEamon Ridgway
