Job description

  • Based in Kewdale
  • Monday - Friday
  • AM or PM Shift
  • Permanent | Full-time | Immediate starts available

To be successful you must possess the following:

  • A minimum 5 years' scheduling experience within a similar role.
  • Extensive transport experience including planning multi drop scheduling.
  • Experience with dealing with drivers, company, and sub-contractors.
  • Tech savvy, experience with 1-stop, Container Chain and FreightWeb being highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of COR - load restraint and weight limit.
  • Experience with Translogix & MT Data operating systems would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Heavy Vehicle accreditation requirement.
  • A strong understanding of fatigue management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing OH&S.
  • Well-presented and take Pride in your work.
  • Ability to work as a Team Player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skill.
  • Provide proof of full unrestricted Australian working rights.
  • All successful applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical/police check.

Your role:

  • Leading a team of Professional Truck Drivers.
  • Optimising fleet allocation.
  • Management of Fleet.
  • Coordination of FCL movements of wharf and rail containers from customer premises in accordance customer requirement and delivery time.
  • Daily allocation of work and controlled supervision drivers and sub-contractors.
  • Ensuring import empty containers at depot and also at clients premises, are de-hired before the free time.
  • Ensuring all jobs are updated correctly and accurately in tracking system.
