What we are looking for:
We are on the look out for someone to join the team as a Fleet Technician to commence ASAP.
Fleet Technicians
- Supporting other warehouse operations as needed (e.g. taking delivery of new e-vehicles)
- Repair and refurbish of our e-vehicles
- Communicating with your Operations team on supply requirements (e.g. spare parts)
- Working with the Operations team to monitor and maintain stock accuracy against our inventory management system
- Keeping our warehouse and work areas tidy
- Overseeing waste disposal
- Thinking about, and sharing, ways we can improve our productivity and streamline our processes
- Following and adhering to our internal processes and procedures, particularly those relating to WH&S
- Meeting our warehouse KPIs
- Supporting the onboarding of our new warehouse team members as required
- May be required to rebalance scooters from end-trip areas to hotspots and Swap batteries to ensure our scooters are fully charged for riders
Skills and Experience
- Fleet Tech - Previous mechanic experience is desirable
- Willing and able to complete physically demanding work, you will be lifting our e-vehicles of approx. 25kgs in and out of the van throughout your shift
- Smartphone savvy with access to your personal phone. You will be using the Beam app and Slack throughout your shift
- Good communicator capable of working with both internal staff and customers
- Able to work effectively within a team and solo on shifts
- Willing to learn and adapt to new policies, procedures and concepts
- Attention to detail and sense of pride in your work
- Good understanding of the local area is desirable
- Keen to learn new skills and adapt to new concepts
- Able to use initiative and creativity to solve problems that arise
