We employ 300 staff at our Gillman head office and in our regional depots in Port Augusta, Whyalla, Port Pirie, Kadina, Clare, Berri and Victor Harbor. This network enables us to provide next-day express freight services to all South Australia (Metro and Regional), Broken Hill and Mildura.
We currently have a full-time position available for an Operations Administration Assistant on our early morning shift with a usual start time of around 6AM.
The role will be responsible for working collaboratively with the team to support the smooth and efficient running of the depot's AM shift activities by handling and resolving any issues that may arise and responding to customer enquiries and POD requests in a timely manner.
About You:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Accurate data entry skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer literate and proficient with MS office software.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in the transport industry is desirable but not essential.
