Flood & Stormwater Engineer

TalentWeb is looking to speak with experienced Civil and Water Engineers for an opportunity with a civil and environmental engineering consultancy based in SEQ. This role can be based at any of their offices across the region and offers a huge amount of autonomy and working from home flexibility.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Undertaking detailed stormwater, flood and water quality designs and reviews;
• Liaising with the rest of the civil engineering team, ensuring projects meet deadline and adhere to budgets;
• Provide flood and stormwater advice for properties and residential developments;
• Prepare technical briefs in relation to projects in accordance to ARR2019 and QUDM.

We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:

• A tertiary engineering qualification in civil or environmental engineering;
• Experience with preparing SMPs, HIA, flood studies, general stormwater/flood plans, drainage studies and options assessments;
• 5+ years' experience in a similar role in QLD; 
• Proficiency using TUFLOW, MUSIC, QGIS and exposure to: XPSWMM, AutoCAD, DRAINS, ICM, RAFTS, URBS, WBNM, MIKE.
