About the role 

This role reports to Manager Engineering and is responsible for advancing Sewer and Stormwater management initiatives at the Council

Duties  

• Conduct assessments of sewer and/or stormwater infrastructure and provide technical expertise and design recommendations
• Prepare and review water related design drawings
• Collaborate with stakeholders teams to implement Sewer and/or stormwater management strategies
• Create reports, proposals, and recommendations to senior management, council members, and external agencies, advocating for effective seweer and/or stormwater management solutions.

Skills & experience   

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering and extensive disciplined knowledge and relevant experience in civil engineering
• 7+ years experience in water/ sewer OR stormwater management
• Proficiency in Water modelling Drains Music Stormwater software
• Drivers license
• Stakeholder engagement
