Position Summary: As the Floor Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of Service Delivery at the Brunswick site. Reporting directly to the Team Leader - Service Delivery, you will be responsible for supervising support staff on the floor, ensuring the smooth implementation of support plans, and maintaining a positive and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Support:
- Provide direct supervision and support to support staff during shifts, addressing immediate concerns and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Support Plan Implementation:
- Oversee the implementation of individual support plans for participants on the floor, ensuring adherence to established protocols and person-centred care.
Communication Hub:
- Facilitate clear communication between support staff and the Team Leader, relaying important updates, information, and feedback.
Training and Onboarding:
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new support staff, identifying opportunities for skill development and coordinating relevant training sessions.
Quality Assurance:
- Monitor Service Delivery to ensure compliance with organisational policies and NDIS guidelines, promptly reporting issues and collaborating on solutions.
Team Collaboration:
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment on the floor, encouraging teamwork and mutual support among support staff.
Emergency Response Coordination:
- Coordinate and lead emergency response procedures when necessary, prioritizing the safety and well-being of participants and staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Disability or related field.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience within the disability or healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of NDIS policies and procedures.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
