ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be part of the Outdoor Living Centre team and you will be a green thumb at heart and we want you to enjoy being amongst the plants and flowers. Your creative floral abilities will ensure you delivery perfectly arranged flowers for all occasions. You may at times be required to complete customer deliveries, assist with duties in the wider store.
Our current team in the House of Bloom are eagerly waiting for you to join the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Greeting customers in the Outdoor Living Centre and providing excellent customer service
- Creating and designing floral arrangements
- Assisting customers with gift selections
- Have a flare for plant and stock arrangements
- Assisting customers with product knowledge
- Ensuring our florist centre is always clean and tidy for our customers to enjoy
- Attention to detail and ability to think outside the square
- Nursery maintenance work at times which will include; potting, pruning, watering, weeding and fertilising
- High awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff and site visitors
- Finally have a ‘hands on’ with a 'can do' attitude
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Extensive hands-on florist experience
- Certificate 3 in Floristry (desirable)
- Nursery experience would be an advantage
- Experience in Retail Sales delivering excellent customer service
