MVR are currently seeking severalFOI Officers & Privacy Investigation Officers to take up a 3 month (with the potential for a further 3 months) contract role for one of our Federal Government clients. These positions will be at the APS5 equivalent level. You will use your professional knowledge and experience to contribute to the delivery of high quality advice and services to a dynamic team.
To be considered, you must have excellent time management, be collaborative, and client and solutions focused.
Key Requirements:
- Process and make decisions on requests for access of documents under the Freedom of Information Act.
- Provide high quality FOI advice to staff across the agency, including the FOI team.
- The ability to interpret and apply the Freedom of Information Act 1982 to decisions on access or amendment requests
- Supporting and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Researching, analysing and problem solving
- Baseline security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
