We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Barista to join our dedicated team.
Job Description:
As a Barista at TEMPO, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests. You will work closely with our kitchen and service staff to ensure that guests receive outstanding service and enjoy their meals. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet guests, take orders, and provide attentive and friendly service throughout their dining experience.
Order Accuracy: Ensure accurate order placement and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
Table Maintenance: Set up and clear tables, and ensure they are clean and well-maintained at all times.
Menu Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials.
Upselling: Suggest menu items, beverages, or desserts to enhance the guest's dining experience.
Billing and Payment: Accurately process bills, handle cash and card transactions, and provide change as needed.
Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area and service stations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
